Blacqui came from Anthony's second litter out of Ch. Barksdale Luminary on lease to Barbara Cleek and Nancy McCue. She was the smallest of a beautiful litter that all completed their championships. Slower to mature, she earned her title at four years of age winning specialties under Larry Willeford and Tim Garrison and her other majors under Linda More and Joe Molloy. In her first litter by Ch. Twin City Secret Ambition, she produced the specialty winning Ch. Lochlaren Bravo's-Secret Edition and the champion producing Lochlaren Stand Back! In a stud fee trade with Connie Dubois and Dr. Cindi Bossart, she was bred to 2005 CCA Best of Breed GCh. Sylvan's Above and Beyond, producing the stunning Ch. Barksdale Sylvan Argent Bellissima, who is a few points shy of her ROM with many youngsters still earning their championships. In turn, GCh. Sylvan Argent Simply Irresistible came to Anthony and produced 4 lovely champions who are now making names for themselves.
